The pandemic laid bare several inequalities in this country, especially around healthcare. In many states, vaccination rates for Blacks and Latinos remained low, stemming from a longstanding distrust of public health initiatives. We partnered with spoken word artist Justice Davis to create messaging that recognizes hesitancy while bringing a sense of empowerment. The poem is part of a broader "One Decision" campaign.
